	<< President/ Executive Director: Dr. Carol Stax Brown 319-398-7644 csbrown@kirkwood.edu Carol assumed her new position at CCID on April 15th 2011. Before becoming CCID President, she has led the very successful U.S. Department of State sponsored Community College Initiative as its National Director for CCID since 2008. Earlier in her career she became the campus administrator operating a new college campus and managing accreditation processes for its technical and industrial programs. She also has several years of corporate experience in marketing and public relations, with particular success in start-up company ventures. Her teaching experiences include various positions in middle and high school and as faculty at the technical college level in GED, ESL, English and humanities.

	Executive Assistant to the President: >> Ms. Carrie Anderson 319-398-7681 canders@kirkwood.edu Carrie has been with CCID since 2007 and provides administrative and program support to the organization President and staff. She maintains all communications with the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and Members. She also assists with the coordination of the Annual Conference, Summer Institute, and Professional Development Programs for the members.

	<< Program Manager: Ms. Andrea Siebenmann 319-398-7183 asieben@kirkwood.edu Andrea has been with the organization since 2002 and had administered a multitude of CCID activities. Currently, she manages all aspects of the CCID Troika Study Abroad programs, coordinates CCID events including the Annual Conference and Summer Institute, or other events. She is an ARO (Alternate Responsible Officer) for CCID's J-1 Visa program, and is responsibile for visa application issuance for professors and scholars as well as the program's compliance. She oversees CCID budgets, insurance and presents about CCID to various audiences interested in the organization and its services.

	Global Outreach Consultant (P/T): >> Mr. John Halder 319-646-3404 jhalder@kirkwood.edu After 12 years as the CCID President and Executive Director, John strategically realigned his position, and retired. Currently, he remains in part-time capacity to assist with CCID's transition to the new leadership as well as with increasing the organization's presence in global regions. John remains fully engaged and committed in pursuing and promoting community college and workforce training model around the globe.

	<< CCID Interim National Director - CCI Programs: Mr. Shawn Woodin 813-253-7000/ #5, ext.7617 swoodin@kirkwood.edu As Assistant National Director, Shawn led development of a Global Leadership Development curriculum, an essential component of the CCI Programs that exposes participants to leadership training and the principles of a democratic society, and how those ideas can be implemented upon their return home. He also works with external evaluators to monitor how program outcomes relate to the goals developed by the U.S. Department of State. He leads communication with the countries that send students to the programs, and is responsible for the budgeting of numerous Awards that support the CCI Programs.

	Program Manager - CCI Programs: >> Ms. Elizabeth Bergeron 319-398-7653 lberger@kirkwood.edu As a Program Manager, Liz is responsible for managing college implementation of the Community College Initiative Programs. Specifically, she manages CCID activities focused on placing, orienting, monitoring, and supporting participants from Egypt and several other nations pursuing studies in a variety of technical and professional fields at CCID member institutions. She works to effectively match participants to these institutions, organize training and development for campus-based staff, plan and deliver student orientations and develop appropriate processes and documentation to monitor and improve college delivery and the participant experience.

	<< Program Manager - CCI Programs: Ms. Mary Beth Hartenstine 206-878-3710 x3391 mhartenstine@highline.edu As a Program Manager, Mary Beth is responsible for managing college implementation of the Community College Initiative Programs. Specifically, she manages CCID activities focused on placing, orienting, monitoring, and supporting participants from Egypt and several other nations pursing studies in a variety of technical and professional fields at CCID member institutions. She works to effectively match participants to these institutions, organize training and development for campus-based staff, plan and deliver student orientations and develop appropriate processes and documentation to monitor and improve college delivery and the participant experience. Mary Beth also supports college implementation of the Community College Initiative for Instructors and Administrators-Egypt program.

	Student Support Specialist - CCI Programs: >> Ms. Carla Bowers 319-398-7620 cbowers@kirkwood.edu Carla has been with CCID since May of 2007, as one of the first hired to administer the CCI grants. Currently, she focuses on student issues, SEVIS documentation and health coverage for the CCI students, and serves as the point person for participating colleges in regard to these issues.

	<< Administrative Assistant - CCI Programs: Ms. Anne Kroll 319-398-7684 akroll@kirkwood.edu As Administrative Assistant, Anne provides administrative support to the National Director and the staff of CCI Programs.She maintains contact lists, student files, workplans, and the CCI team calendar

	Communications Specialist - CCI Programs: >> Ms. Amanda Cook 319-398-7636 acook@kirkwood.edu As Program Communications Specialist, Amanda is responsible for managing general program communication, technical support, and publicity for the Community College Initiative. She supports the CCI website, networking activities, internal technical support, alumni relations and outreach, events reporting and cataloguing, database administration, and overall branding of CCI.

	<< Grants Project Assistant - CCI Programs: Ms. Kate Barrett 319-398-7636 kate.barrett@kirkwood.edu Kate has worked at CCID since July 2010 as the Grants Project Assistant. Part of her responsibilities include document preparation for student orientations, SEVIS, taxation and COINS healthcare documentation. She also does data entry, helps maintain the student database and tracks student forms via the ImageNow system.

	Grants Specialist - CCI Programs: >> Ms. Laura Donovan 319-398-7679 laura.donovan@kirkwood.edu Laura has been with CCID since September 2008, and she is currently a Grants Specialist. Her responsibilities include compliance issues, subaward process, research, proposal coordination, and annual report filing for the CCI Programs. Her office is located in the Grants Services Department at Kirkwood Community College.

	<< CCID Grants Accounting Manager - CCI Programs: Mr. Barry W. Dietsch 319-398-7671 Barry.Dietsch@kirkwood.edu As CCID Grants Accounting Manager, Barry is responsible for all aspects of the financial responsibilities related to the grant management process. In addition to managing a staff of two grants accountants, he also manages the annual budget approval process, all compliance issues, financial reporting to US Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, and international tax reporting. It is Barry’s goal to build on CCID’s strong professional relationships with our partner colleges and to continuously find ways to enhance the program in all aspects. Having joined the team in April of 2010, Barry is looking forward to getting to know everyone associated with this program!

	Grants Accountant - CCI Programs: >> Ms. Michele Sperfslage 319-398-7786 michele.sperfslage@kirkwood.edu Michele works with CCID staff and participating colleges to support the financial components of the CCI Programs. Responsibilities include budgeting, financial reporting, auditing and compliance, and college training.

	<< PT Membership Support Specialist: Ms. Jaimie Michelle Hoskins 319-398-1257 jaimie.hoskins@kirkwood.edu Jaimie has been hired in the fall of 2011 to join CCID team As the Membership Support Specialist. Her role is to assist with memberships, events and other programming at CCID.
