THIS IS CCID

This Is CCID

CCID is a non-profit consortium of member colleges world-wide. The mission is to serve our member colleges by assisting them achieve their goals in internationalizing their classrooms, campuses, districts or communities. Member colleges vary greatly in their level of experience from those very new to international issues, to those with extensive international staff, programming and experience. Our programming reflects this.

Presently, we comprise approximately 170 colleges. Of that number about 80% are from the U.S. and 20% are located in countries on 5 continents (Australia, Asia, Africa, Europe, Central and South America). Offshore institutions are all members of the higher education systems in their own country. Some are titled universities, but include in their educational mission work that is similar to that of US 2-year colleges. Networking and partnering with technical and vocational counterparts worldwide is a key CCID activity.
