The mission of CCID is to provide opportunities for building global relationships that strengthen educational programs, and promote economic development. This means that our activities and programs are broad, deep and focused on global education issues as they relate primarily to two year colleges and the equivalent outside the United States.

For our member colleges (and their students, faculty and community) we provide a wide range of programming to assist you be the best that you can be in the global economy. We provide multiple methods to share global expertise with you – from conferences and special training programs, to professional development opportunities.

We are managed by a Board of Directors comprising college presidents. These are the men and women with their hands on the engine that drives much of the economic growth in their communities.

We are a global organization, with members spread worldwide.  All relish the networking and collaborative opportunities provided by the consortium.  For those new to these activities, we provide guidelines and templates to facilitate building your own global networks.

For clients located in North America or offshore, our goal is to bring to you the resources of our member colleges (over 500 technical and professional programs, and their thousands of faculty and staff). We package training and consultancies to meet your needs, captured from the skill sets of our member colleges.

For students we offer study abroad programs with a unique design, bringing diverse groups together in an overseas setting. Our goal is to provide you with an un-paralleled experience that will better equip you in the global marketplace, and make you more attractive to potential employers.

For college communities, we are helping to shape the future workforce, so that you can become more efficient, productive and competitive.
